Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to join our team in the fast-paced world of e-commerce retail. The Warehouse Supervisor will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, managing a team of warehouse associates, and ensuring efficient and accurate order fulfillment.
Responsibility and Deliverables
Supervise and lead a team of warehouse associates, ensuring proper staffing levels for operational needs.
Oversee the picking, packing, and shipping of customer orders in a timely and accurate manner.
Monitor and manage workflow to ensure efficient order fulfillment processes.
Supervise inventory control processes, including receiving, put-away, and cycle counting.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies in inventory counts.
Implement corrective actions to meet or exceed performance targets.
Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and other technologies to optimize fulfillment operations.
Maintain open communication with team members, management, and other departments.
Conduct regular team meetings to discuss goals, updates, and best practices.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
Implement and track initiatives to streamline operations and reduce costs.
