Project Head – COWBERRY Cattle Farm

Job Description

We seek an experienced Animal Husbandry expert (M.Sc. in Animal Husbandry required) to lead the project from inception to full-scale operations. The ideal candidate will manage all aspects of the project, from infrastructure and operations to comprehensive animal health management and welfare.

Responsibility and Deliverables

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, manage budgets, and ensure timely progress.

- Oversee facility design and operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and efficient farm management.

- Recruit, train, and lead a skilled team while maintaining effective communication with stakeholders.

- Integrate modern Organic & Modern farming technologies and sustainable practices to drive efficiency.

Veterinary Responsibilities: 

- Monitor the health and well-being of livestock.
- Prevent disease through vaccination programs and regular health assessments.
- Examine animals, diagnose illnesses, and determine effective treatments.
- Treat illnesses, dress wounds of injured animals, and prescribe medication as needed.

-  Perform dental, ophthalmic, and orthopaedic surgeries when required.

Qualifications:

- M.Sc. in Animal Husbandry (Mandatory).

- Proven track record in managing large-scale livestock operations and agricultural projects.

- Strong leadership, communication, and technical skills with a focus on modern Organic & Natural farming methods.
