Salary Range: Up to 3,60,000/- PA

Job Summary:

The FPO Manager will oversee the operations and development of the Farmer Producer Organization. This role involves managing agricultural activities, improving productivity, ensuring compliance with regulations, and fostering strong relationships with farmers and stakeholders.

Responsibility and Deliverables

Role and Responsibilities: 

• Search new areas and develop new ICS as per the requirement 

• Ability to undertake market research. 

• Need to prepare ICS documents for farm auditing. 

• Plan, handle and complete field audits. 

• Promote FPO in a sustainable way 

• Make monthly working pl. for all field staff and execute the same. 

• To coordinate with field officers for farmers' visit and resolving the queries of the farmers to convert from  non-organic to organic farming. 

• Plan and conduct the farmer training program as per the requirement. 

• Resolve all queries of the field officers in context to HR policy in coordination with HR team. 

• Coordinate with CSR team for implementation of CSR project in respective ICS locations. 

• Provide support to the purchase team for procurement of commodities from ICS as per quality targets. 

• Understand all the legal and statutory compliances of FPOs and facilitate accordingly 

• Conduct internal/surprise inspection for all ICS. 

• Successful achievement of production, procurement and organic certification Is the single most important aspect of the project. 

• Train Team and Farmers on agronomic practices and organic certification 

• Coordinate with Finance, HR and other department for smooth flow of work. 

• Documentation including maintenance of files (physical and softcopies.

• Prepare business development proposal and detailed road maps for FPO 

 Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s or Masters in degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, horticulture, Rural Development, or related field. 

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year in agriculture management, agribusiness, or related areas.

• Skills:

• Familiarity with quality standards and process.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Fluency in written and oral communication in English and Local language

• Knowledge of agricultural practices and market trends.

• Ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
