Executive - Warehouse Operations
Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Warehouse Operations Executive to lead and optimize our warehouse operations in the fast-paced environment of e-commerce retail. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in logistics, inventory management, and team leadership to ensure the seamless functioning of our warehouse facility.
Responsibility and Deliverables
- Provide strategic direction and leadership for the day-to-day operations of the Fulfillment Center.
- Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the distribution center.
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of supervisors, team leaders, and warehouse associates.
- Oversee inventory control processes, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Implement measures to maintain accurate inventory levels and minimize discrepancies.
- Collaborate with the inventory control team to conduct regular audits and cycle counts.
- Ensure timely and accurate picking, packing, and shipping of customer orders.
- Monitor order processing metrics and implement improvements to meet service level agreements.
- Coordinate with other departments to resolve order-related issues and challenges.
- Collaborate with IT and logistics teams to address system issues and enhancements.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for the fulfillment center and monitor performance against benchmarks.
- Provide regular reports to senior management on the performance of the fulfillment center.
- Conduct regular safety training sessions and drills.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and implement efficiency initiatives.
